5 weeks of Live and Recorded Online Yoga classes. MBY for Charity Pop Ups are first and foremost different from other classes as they benefit both our students and the people we help through donating to our chosen charity, here the Impact Foundation UK - 'Preventing Needless Disability and Transforming Lives Around the World'. It's Your Yoga For Others! Our classes are tailored for Yoga Beginners or those familiar to Yoga with some experience, including Yoga Seniors. Established practitioners can use our variety of themes and types of Yoga classes to broaden and explore their practice in different way. Everyone can enjoy the company and friendship of our online community! The early morning live classes particularly suit those that are working from home or enjoy this earlier start to their day, with no travelling to studios involved! This Pop Up comprises of 2 X 1 hour long weekday classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays) over 5 weeks plus a recorded weekly Yoga Nidra/ Mindfulness session and extra class videos each week thrown in for free for those that want more time on the mat! Lessons follow various styles with weekly themes for added interest. We change things up by sometimes practicing a more dynamic Yoga using Standing Flows , Sun Salutations and strength and balance work , usually beginning with a Breath practice (Pranayama) and finishing with some slow stretches, then sometimes add a simple Restorative or Yin style class to bring all round physical and mental fitness. All classes use basic Yoga poses ( nothing Instagrammable!) with lots of modifications to make it available to every practitioner. Each class is recorded and all participants receive a link to use or revisit any time during the week, so no reason to miss out! Weeks are 'themed', bringing in a little philosophy and back stories to make our Yoga relevant to every day life. We aim for fun, informative lessons to involve and connect with students, with lots of variety and introductions to approaching Yoga from a different direction through, for example, Restorative and Yin Yoga. At the same time, our lessons focus on anatomical cues, alignment through Prop work, traditional practices with Sun Salutations and popular Asanas and, of course, Pranayama / Breath Control. Ultimately though, we want everyone to enjoy their practice within our community and feel good about why they are doing it too, sharing what we can with those in need - real life Yoga!
