About

Chamonix

Our chalet is situated in Argentiere, a pretty alpine village in the Chamonix valley (about 7km from Chamonix). The valley floor sits high up in the mountains and is renowned as one of the very best ski areas in Europe and the hiking capital of the world. Chamonix itself is a pretty town full of character, proud of its ancient traditions yet accommodating a large tourist population, with everything from high end shops to weekly local markets, Heli-skiing to alpine meadow strolls and Michelin starred restaurants to mountainside ‘buvettes’ (café stops!).

Our Holiday Retreats

At Mont Blanc Yoga our emphasis is on the highest quality of Yoga instruction for all levels. We believe, however, that this is your holiday, not solely a retreat. So we create a friendly, peaceful environment to relax and enjoy your morning and evening yoga practice in, while helping you make the most of the fantastic natural beauty of the World-famous valley around us. In the evenings we meet as a group to enjoy good food and wine in a relaxed and informal setting.

In Winter ski or snowboard at one of the 5 incredible ski areas with 310 kms of pistes or perhaps try Nordic skiing. For those not so keen on snowsports, try snowshoeing or walks through the valley – or just take the ski lift as a pedestrian and enjoy the heavenly views with a hot chocolate. Travel on the historic rack and pinion railway to visit the stunning Mer de Glace glacier, ice skate, watch the French ice hockey champions the Pionniers, or swim in the Olympic pool. You could even take the local mountain train to nearby Martigny in Switzerland for yet more wonderful scenery!

In Spring, Summer and Autumn the Chamonix valley becomes the walking and hiking capital of the World. Walks, trails and hikes for every ability range from gentle riverside strolls to walking through flower-filled pastures up to the snow-line and glaciers above. With the ski lifts still operating you can hike from the valley floor or start from the top of the mountain. For something a bit different try white water rafting, tandem paragliding or a round of golf. There are also countless events and exhibitions throughout the season.
